Latest News at Aldouran
There has been a lot of recent activity at Aldouran on several fronts. We are now an independent charity
and have plans to improve and develop the Aldouran experience. This includes making a new gateway, new paths and an environmental
At present the garden is flourishing and includes many new plants, a lovely new bench and a wishing
well under construction.
A Mallard duck has successfully reared four ducklings on the pond and woodpeckers and red squirrels
are amongst the species viewed from the observation hide.
We have held two Wildlife
Wonders sessions this summer where we invite children to come along and take part in activities such as pond dipping, stone
painting, woodland art, hide building, bird and general wildlife activities all led by wildlife experts.
Saturday 3rd August - 10.30am - 12 noon - Tidy up in the garden and moth survey.
